Thakurdas Murmu

Thakurdas Murmu is an Indian translator associated with Santali literature. He received Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize for Santali in 2011 from the Government of India.^[1]

• Santal Pahra (Vol. I & II) – translated from the Odia work Santal Lokakatha by Binod Bihari Das.^[1]

• Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize (2011) – awarded for the Santali translation Santal Pahra. The Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize is a national literary award presented annually by the Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters. It recognizes outstanding translations of literary works into the 24 languages recognized by the Akademi, promoting linguistic diversity and literary exchange.^{[1] [2]}
